Food was subpar this evening Arrived cold and undercooked No apologies The heat was turned off Management was uncaring after complaint and absolutely not accomodating
It was originally named The Nebraska dinner. Then it was retro 50 before Parkview
This is the best diner in the area. I am so proud of the workers their who are being so patient with difficult client from the area. I happen to see today how the African American woman for no reason cursed and almost beat up a girl who works there. The girl handled the situation calmly and professionally. Once again the best place to eat !!! Food is great
Wwyd was there when visited very great staff & food yum yum.
One of the last great diners in Brooklyn! Great service, clean, well-run and the food has always been good.
Solid diner. Good food but too pricey. Bagel with cream cheese bacon egg and cheese sandwich coffee and apple juice was about $27. Staff is nice and owner/manager us always good to my son. As long as the food is good I'll keep coming back.
While well priced, most of the food I had the chance to sample was unseasoned and ultimately bland. I had to coat my food in salt, pepper and ketchup to add variety to my meal. Though the customization and care taken into making an omlette is commendable, I would give this place a pass to anyone who isn't travelling through Brooklyn due to the sheer convenience of its location.
It's a great place 2eat...n of course it's outdoors...n the lovely sound of the Belt parkway...lol
We had a wonderful Valentin day dinner The menu has a large selection..something delicious for everyone and children too. Highly recommend
Love their Breakfast. Especially after sunrise swims.
This diner is not as it suspects it’s food was not even prepared correctly nor was what I ordered what it came to my house to be. Terrible I would never eat or order here again
I didn’t have high expectations for the business, the outside looks like it hasn’t been renovated since it’s open. Regardless, I kept an open mind and ordered my usual French toast and chicken tenders. Just a heads up for anyone looking to order the tenders, they are not tenders. They just bread some small cutlets with what looks like breadcrumbs. The service wasn’t bad, and the diner look busy enough. I was just a little disappointed with the chicken. Seems like a decent place to come for a traditional eggs and bacon, or waffles kind of breakfast.
Ive been here 3 times! The first 2 times was nice, but unfortunately on the 3rd time, I was horribly disappointed. Food was bland. The potatoes had absolutely no seasoning on it. The toast wasn't even toasted. Which is surprising, the place wasn't busy the day I went. Also, after we ordered, never did a server come to ask how the food was or refill coffee or if we needed anything. Felt very neglected, and disappointed. I won't be going back here..
This french toast I ordered with strawberry preserves was exelle nt!!! I love their food and the service is great.
No discount for first responders then i won’t be patronizing their business. Plus I can go elsewhere and I won’t have to overpay for a hamburger. Do. not call the police when someone runs out on this dump and without paying their bill
Been here couple times before. My third time is no different. For a dinner the food is good. Burgers, breakfast and wraps. Service is good and the place it's pretty clean. If I'm in area, I'd come here again.
We came in for a quick breakfast even though it was well after noon, the service was quick. Everything was delicious. I love coming here
Very Good Food & Awesome I Love Norma💯💕💕💕💕
Good place to go and have a good meal with your family
Great weekday breakfast specials.after a sunrise swim at Coney Island, the staff treats us with food and love!!!
I've come here twice, the first time was actually a decent experience. My recent trip left me fairly disappointed. I don't expect much from diners, their quality is mediocre at best, but customer service is usually not this bad. Our waitress wasn't the nicest, and all of her movements were careless. She kept asking if we were ready to order despite only having been seated. She handed me a red clam chowder that looked less than appetizing. Mind you when you order chowder, you usually expect the white New England version, and when ordering she didn't tell me they offered two kinds of it. Nonetheless she swapped it for my preference of the white version. The quality of the food is as you'd expect it. Tasteless, soggy, and unappetizing. Overall, I was disappointed, the whole place looks like it needs a thorough wash down, and the booth chairs weren't the cleanest. I don't recommend visiting this diner. I don't plan on returning.
Good customer service, good prices and good food but the main reason why I gave three stars is because a lot of the stuff from the menu they didn’t have it available so why keep it on the menu it make no sense
This is classic dinner all the way down to the little boxes of Cheerios. Pastries that won't take no for an answer. Food prepared fresh. Banana milkshakes that are so delicious. Service a bit slow and un coordinated or I would have given a 5 🌟 rating. I will be back again soon to give fare opportunity to correct any lapse. Love the decor. Love the staff and love the food.
One word describes all "The best food"
Waiter's were quite helpful and accommodating! One who escorted us to a table and then another gentleman who then took our orders. Food was quite fresh and came out hot. One person ordered their chicken wrap and cheese fries! Two others ordered burger's and fries and scrumptious onion rings. I had ordered eggs, fries toast and orange juice. Place was clean and parking was a bit tight but the overall experience was awesome!
From the outside, the diner looks closed. It took me a few minutes to realize it was still in business. From the beginning I was disappointed. I was seated near the kitchen where the waitresses were speaking fairly loud about personal matters. Not only was it annoying and rude, but very unprofessional. The waitress who took our order kept coming back every few minutes (2-3 min) to ask if we were ready when we were clearing still looking through the menu. That was extremely annoying and she wasn't too happy to wait. We ordered a toasted corn muffin with butter on the side and she brought us a dry, hockey puck looking muffin with no butter.(it also had a small piece of plastic on it). The burger we ordered was okay, nothing great but overall the experience was poor. Would I come again? Probably not. Food was pretty pricey and the service was trash. Don't waste your time.
Was here Mother's day Weekend. Super crowded, I felt bad for our waitress because I could tell she was waiting on a lot of tables. She seemed overwhelmed and I can imagine how that must've felt. We were a table of 6. My omelette was a little on the bland side 😣 but I guess it was because the mass amount of orders that were coming in. My mother, her bf, my son, and nephew all loved their food. My sister felt her eggs were also a bit bland but she liked her French toast. I would come and try out their food again.
Had the eggs, sausage and hashbrowns for breakfast. The food was very good and service was almost immediate. The diner was very clean and well lit outside in the dark. I was surprised at how large this diner is. I was also very happy to see that I found a diner open at 6:00 in the morning in. Brooklyn. It is also conveniently located next to the Belt Parkway.
Absolutely disgusting. I went here for a burger hearing all the decent reviews. My burger was raw when I asked to put it back on the grill all i got was attidude and a completely burned burger. Never again.
We had breakfast here. For breakfast the amount was great and tasty. We are from New Mexico and it tasted different for some reason and couldn't figure it out. But it was delicious. It even included coffee and orange juice.
Food is excellent. Service is great! A Little bit pricey but can't complain since this is a diner😜. We had a very welcoming, nice waitress. Love that an american atmosphere here. Super convenient, 24 hrs open, you cant ask for more). The only thing I didn't feel comfortable with, is that for payment with a card you have to go to the counter. I hope managers will fix that in the future, because I didn't like how I paid and didn't have chance to see my waitresses to thank her.
Clean and edible but nothing to get excited over
Awesome atmosphere. 9 out of 10 times perfect service. Your greeted like family. Food is what you would expect out of a Diner but that's fine by me. Always a pleasure
This is my Favorite Diner I feel everytime I'm there I get treated like a celebrity but that's how they treat everyone. Love the food FANTASTIC workers PLEASANT atmosphere. Al is truly a BEAUTIFUL person
Amazing food. Super fresh and friendly staff. Parking is never an issue. Love their breakfast options as well as their steak!
Hot food. Amazing Staff. Recommend the burgers and any of the specials. Had the pot pie and a burger. Bother fresh and amazing. Thank you Parkview for being the best diner in Coney island.
The food is good and prices are fair Services is good. What really upset me why is when I went back to my car in the parking lot a person owning a Chrysler with Maserati fake badges all over it and handicap plates backed up into my car by leaving and broke my front license plate & Frame holder that goes on the bumper off and I was sitting eating in front of the restaurant and no one ever came in to say they were sorry. I know it was that car because it was parked in front of me when I parked there and it was gone when I left I mean I'm not that upset it's only a $25 issue I just don't understand why you had the backup into someone so hard thank God I think that was a messed up on my car so it's a brand new car it's not right that someone even that that and that was my experience
Worst experience ever the food was burnt and the bacon undercooked and also arrived cold waited over an hour for food and when I talked to management about the service I received they did absolutely nothing to accommodate me! Terrible place
My ministry and I come here a lot after 12 am. Service is consistent and the owner is a really great guy. It's always clean and the food here is good. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.
Typical American diner. Great weekend breakfast brunch with cocktail, juice, tea or coffee.
Excellent diner. Liked the food quite a bit, definitely a grade above general diner fare.
Service was great! The food was average and somewhat bland, but the atmosphere is cool. The diner itself reminds you of something out of a movie.
You can never go wrong by coming here. The food is always made fresh and the service is great.
Convenient diner off the Belt Parkway we enjoy a few times a year when passing that area. Busy year, needed dinner on Thanksgiving night and diner was open. Figuring simple stuff like chicken fingers for kids and burgers. They had a turkey dinner special with soup, corn, yams and pie and could feed two, so we had plenty leftovers for next day; son had a ribs special - and yes, we got chicken fingers, too. It was perfect!
Had breakfast here after party and it was Delicious!! Everything was fresh. Loved the sausages & service was great. Would def have breakfast there again.
Very cozy and warm place. Clean and the people are so nice. They greet us when you come in and sit us down. Food is excellent in my opinion 😊❤️. They say see you again soon. The women's bathroom? That's another story 🤪😭
Good place. Decent service most of the time. Polite staff and food tastes pretty good.
Excellent! Tasty, good price and nice service.
Best diner in Brooklyn, best food, best service. The owners are so hospitable. Can’t say enough 👍
Typical diner. Lots of seating, delicious food and huge portions. Staff is always friendly and welcoming.
This is a great spot in the area for any meal. Set in a classic diner vibe complete with neons. Very large menu with daily specials. Baked goods always on hand. Good and friendly service. Better than most surrounding options in the neighborhood. Surf and turf was good but a lower quality cut of steak. Greek salad was very good. French onion soup hit the spot. Servings of bread, pickles, coleslaw, chickpeas was a nice surprise. Nice cozy friendly spot I would visit again.
